Welcome

My name is Peter Walter. My parents moved to Keswick in 1990 and I moved here in 2020. I am lucky enough to have stopped full time work and now enjoy using my skills and experience in a number of voluntary and part time roles.

The thing that keeps me most busy - and gives me so many great projects to write about - is being on the Board of the Lake District National Park Authority. The Directors (or Members as we are called) help guide the long term strategy of the Park. It's a great job and I'm constantly learning new things about life in the National Park.
